Pathway International: New site design with CMS

Pathway International approached websmiths wanting a new site which reflected their current company values and had systems for easy maintenance of content, as well as the ability to upload current news and create pages for their exclusive agencies, upload logos, weblinks etc.

Websmiths integrated FCKEditor, an open source application designed to give users an interface to easily edit page content with the ability to apply Cascading Style Sheets without having to write the html code. Once a user is logged in, they can very simply switch between 'edit mode' and 'preview mode'. All content is in a live database, so updates can be done from anywhere (online) and changes are reflected immediately.

Also included is functionality to upload pdfs into a news area, which is dynamically created and automatically archives articles after a given period of time.

In addition, a facility to create new 'exclusive agency' pages, upload company and product logos and website urls is automated to create the new (editable) page, update the site navigation, page titles, meta tags, web links and other relevant information.

The system also incorporates very clean, table free coding, with accessible list navigation styled using CSS.
